A Long March is a formal protest of the political party in opposition along with their supporters to kneel the ruling government. The long march is first legally approved by the administration in the form of an approval letter. In Pakistan after the removal of former Prime Minister Imran Khan by a vote of no confidence, he announced a long march against the government but failed. Now he again announced the long march that will end on 4 November 2022
SIDES- EFFECT ON THE ECONOMY:
The political instability is directly related to the economic crisis. Here are some side effects on the economy that occur by PTI’s long march.

PTI’s long march greatly affects the business community. By blocking roads, it affects daily life as well as official life. After recovering from COVID-19 Pakistan had struggled to fix its economy. Effect on GDP:
Research suggests that: On average, major unrest events are supported by a 1% reduction in GDP six quarters after the events. For Pakistan that would means that the current long march could cause a major dent in GDP running into a billion of rupees.
Increment in debt burden:
COVID-19 and the political crisis after a change of government have a bad effect on foreign debt. IMF,’s program was again started by the struggle of former finance minister Mifta Ismail. But now the long march again could create a debt burden Crisis. Pakistan has a total external debt of $116,505,539,224 (about $360 per person in the US) in 2022.
Create anarchy and bloodshed:
PTI’s long march could create an intense situation. Intensity in supporters proves harmful to lives. Recently, during Long March a female reporter lost her life by crushing. This is a sign of an alarming situation.
CONCLUSION:
It would be said that this long march would not bring any abrupt change in Pakistan as the institutions say to remain neutral. The government also prepared for the long march.
In capitalist society [Pakistan], peaceful protest in form of long march could finish with table talk. But in the present situation, both the government and the opposition are not ready for peaceful talk.
