Suicide blast in Peshawar's mosque: why Pakistan has not been able to eliminate the root of terrorism till now

 Around 1:30 PM, a suicide bombing had taken place in a mosque located in north Pakistan (Peshawar) on 30 january,2023. 

The preliminary investigative report given to the PM Shehbaz Sharif, claimed that the explosion was a suicide blast. 

Ijaz Khan (Peshawar Police Chief) reported that 103 people had been killed while almost 221 people are injured in this attack. This incident reminded of the Army Public tragedy (2016) in Peshawar. 

Who is responsible? 

Some group in Tahriek-e-Taliban Pakistan TTP claimed that the attacked was the revenge of their Partner for the assassination of the Umar Khalid Khorasani, while other groups denied it. 

This incident took place after the TTP abandoned in ceasefire. 

Almost 11 suicide attacks had been confirmed by the Intelligence. 500 attacks on different levels took place throughout the year. 

After the withdrawal of American troops in Afghanistan, as soon as the Taliban of Afghanistan came to power, the Former PM Imran Khan allowed Taliban to return to Pakistan as he has a soft corner for the Taliban. 

In an interview with TRT World, Imran Khan said that negotiate talk was held with Taliban. But Taliban (Militants) were not ready to lay down their armed weapons. Then TTP ended Ceased Fire in November 2022 and resumed their terror attacks. 

PM Shehbaz Sharif flayed PTI and asked a question that who brought these terrorists backed to KPK. 

Why were the police targeted? 

City police were in front line who are continually against the Militants. Various attacks that happened last year were the target of the administrative and civil officials.  

The mosque is a part of the Headquarter of the City Police Force, and it is a highly secured area.

IG of KPK Mozaam Jah Ansari admitted that the incident happened due to Security lap. 

Public Wants the answer of some questioned? 

1: Despite the success of operation “Zarb-e-Azb and Rad-al-Assaad”, why did terrorism rise again? 

Almost 100 militants that were involved in APS tragedy had waived their penalties. 

During Imran Khan’s era, the sentences of almost 100 militants (who were involved in APS tragedy) were pardoned. 

2: Why was the death sentence of these terrorists pardoned and not publicly hanged whose hands are stained with the blood of innocent children of APS? 

Theses terrors killed almost 80,000+ innocent people till now. 

3: How long will we sacrifice our soldiers and innocent public to completely end this terrorism? 

Conclusion: 

To conclude, public wants these terrorists to be publicly hanged moreover the steps taken by the government to end terrorism should be made clear to the people. 

It is important that the government and people work together so that terrorism once again completely eliminate in the way it was done in 2018 after APS tragedy.
