#Interesting Fact #new Chief of Army Staff (COAS) #Syed Asim Munir #Pakistan #sania akhtar Lt-Gen Asim Munir , who was nominated by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and whose nomination was approved by President Arif Alvi on Thursday evening (24 November 2022) will take the charge of the 600.000 strong nuclear charge armed army on November 29, 2022, after the retirement of Incumbent General Qamar Javid Bajwa.   He will serve as the 11 th Chief of Army Staff (COAS). He will be the first COAS who have Sword of Honor.   Initial Training :   Asim Munir started his training from Mangla as 17 th of the Officer Training School (OTS). His military career was initiated in 1986.
